It is 20 kilometres from the city. Yog Gram is the fulfilment of Respected Swami Ramdev Ji and Respected Acharya Balkrishna Ji's holy and auspicious thoughts with the viewpoint and vision of alleviating people from various afflictions through conventional and efficient Ayurvedic medical treatments. It was launched on June 8, 2008, by Shri B. C. Khanduri, the previous Chief Minister of Uttarakhand. The Patanjali Yogpeeth Trust, under which Yog Gram operates, began its journey on April 6, 2006, with the goal of healing people via Ayurveda and Yoga. Patanjali Yogpeeth at Haridwar, Uttarakhand, is one of the largest yoga institutes in India, if not the entire globe, and is named after Mahrishi Patanjali. The institute was founded to provide treatment and research in the fields of Yoga and Ayurveda. It boasts the world's largest outpatient department, or OPD, with a daily capacity of 6 to 10 thousand patients, an I.P.D. of one hundred beds, Panchkarma and Shatkarma Clinics and Research Centres, Ayurvedic Surgery and Research Centre, Diagnostics and Research Centre (Pathology, Ultrasound, X-Ray, and E.C.G., among others), all in the service of mankind. With the passage of time, the organization's success stories and contributions to humanity grew. Respected Swami Ramdev Ji and Respected Acharya Balkrishna Ji worked tirelessly for the rebirth of Yoga and Ayurveda, which are ancient Indian scientific techniques to living a healthy, calm, and elegant life, by the grace of God. Soon after, the two recognised that they needed to open a Naturopathy centre where people could recover from their different ailments and afflictions using Ayurveda, Yoga, and meditation. Yog Gram was founded on June 8, 2008, in the calm and warm lap of nature, amid mountains and rivers, distant from the city, with a mission to cure and benefit people via traditional Ayurveda and Panchkarma therapies. Sadhkas (Health Seekers) are welcome to come here and live a wonderful, serene, and healthy lifestyle.
